Alternative Tourism Open House 2001

PLANETA FORUM

openhouse

Oaxaca City - The Alternative Tourism Open House took place at Institutio Amigos del Sol October 31, 2001. It was one of the most dynamic event of the year and demonstrated a unique collaborative effort between local businesses, educators, government offices and media. Planeta.com was pleased to co-sponsor the event.

Focusing attention on the best tours and ongoing development work in the region, this program grew from the ongoing Oaxaca Options round table which has brought together locals and tourists in a series of in-depth presentations about tourism. Amigos del Sol Language School hosted the event during Day of the Dead week.
