MEZCALTURISMO
Mezcal is plural. The drink can be distilled from more than a dozen
agave plants, each with their distinct qualities. Individual producers
(maestros mezcaleros) add their impint as well. As mezcal becomes
more famous, visitors want to see where it is produced. If you care
to see where mezcal is produced, it's easy to visit the mezcal factories
near Mitla,
Ocotlán
de Morelos, San Dionisio and Santiago Matatlán.
