Oaxaca, is located on the west side of Llano Park. There is
also a visitor's info desk inside the Oaxacan
Painters' Museum, north from the Alameda
Park. The city tourism office's location is Hidalgo #1415.

and magazines, including Noticias, Imparcial and a dozen others.

at the corner of Calle Independencia and the Alameda
Park, across from the Cathedral.

Bibliotecas Infantil de Oaxaca (Oaxaca
Children's Library) is located at José
López Alavez #1342 in Colonia
Xochimilco, across from Casa Robertita. Open Monday-Friday,
11am-7pm, Saturday-Sunday, 10am-7pm.
The Oaxaca Lending Library
is located at Pino Suárez #519, one block south of Llano
Park. Library hours: Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm and 4-7pm. Saturdays
10am-1pm.
The Welte Institute for Oaxacan
Studies is located at Emilio Carranza #203 in Colonia
Reforma. The library is free and open to the public from 10:00
am until 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.The library houses the most
comprehensive and accessible bibliographic collection in Oaxaca
on Oaxaca. There are more than 10,000 titles in English, Spanish
and other languages.
