-- Oaxaca's Sierra
Juárez boasts a wealth of natural and cultural diversity.
Locals call this mountainous region by its proper name, named after
Mexico's illustrious President Benito
Juárez.
In the past few years the communities have developed
hiking trails, cabins and camping sites. As of 2007, there were
more than one hundred beds available in cabins and family posadas
in the region.

the sacred mountain of the Mixe.
