2) Register
for the conference. You then have full access to the archives.
3) Read the references and the
archives.
4) Make time available. You can continue with business as usual, but be sure
to log in at least twice a day.
5) Participate. Don't lurk! The first message you should send is an introduction to your work in the
field of Mexican ecotourism. Guidelines for participation are online the conference home page.
By actively participating, you will get the most out of the individual
forums. At traditional conferences, you are noticed by your physical presence
alone. We need to hear from you! The conference runs from September 4-8,2000.
6) Network. Because the conference is virtual, you can browse messages, participate in
online chats and contact other participant via private email. Develop a network
of professional colleagues who can help you get the work done that motivates you.
7) Send appropriate messages. Be sure to stick to the topic of the forum. If you
go off track, your message will not be posted.
8) If you have questions or problems, don't panic.
