The Colonial City of Alamos has been designated as a national
monument by the Mexican Government because of its historical
architecture. It is a splendid little town of about 10,000 persons
with a large contigent of U.S., Canadian and other foreign residents.
Alamos has been named one of a limited number of Pueblos Magicos.
Alamos is the northern-most 'Silver City' in Mexico.
