HISTORY
FIRST STAGE -- We received initial financial support
from the Department
of Environmental Studies at Florida International University
and the Ford
Foundation in 2003 to expand our Forest
Resource Guide and highlight forestry in Mexico.
Publications include Forests
of Mexico and Who's
Who in Mexican Forestry.
To update these resources, we have established a forestry
branch and a Flickr
pool.
SECOND STAGE -- As FOLAF matures, we would also like
to host roundtable discussions and provide training for those
working to connect forest conservation and tourism.
