WTO SPOTLIGHT

The International Network for the Sustainable Development of Coastal Tourism Destinations has been officially launched at the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR), in Madrid, January 2003. This is a web-based mechanism aimed at facilitating the transfer of knowledge and the exchange of experiences generated by international, public and private sector organizations, especially local authorities and destination management organizations, in the sustainable development and management of coastal tourism.
