ANTIPODES
The antipode is the point on the opposite side of the earth from
another point so situated that a line drawn from the one to the
other passes through the center of the Earth and forms a true diameter.
For example, the antipode of New Zealand's North
Island lies in Spain.
To find an antipode, take a specific latitude and convert it to
the opposite hemisphere. Then, take the longitude of the place you
want to find the antipode of and subtract the longitude from 180.
Antipodes are always 180° longitude away.
