Write for the global reader. Don't assume that your work will
be read only by those in your own country. If something might
be confusing, explain it. Simplify ideas as if you were talking

Dead links are the bane of the Web. So if you come across any
on our site, please report
dead links. Provide specific information -- the address
(URL) of the page with the dead link, the name and URL of the
dead link itself and (if possible) the new URL.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICS
No attachments, please! Copy and paste articles into the body
of a simple email.
If you are copying and pasting from a word processing program,
use plain text and convert curly quotes (smart quotes) to straight
quotes.
When giving a URL, include the 'http://' -- often removed in
print publication for reasons of saving space -- but sometimes
necessary for online referrals.

We are happy to feature outside links on our headlines page
as well as relevant features. Preferential treatment is given

guides. The standard format includes an overview of the natural
world, geography, cultural attractions and 'how to' information
including transportation tips.
