In 2005 the two week online dialogue reviewed current work
around the globe and built upon issues raised in the Urban
Ecotourism Conference. The conference was launched in Oaxaca,
Mexico.
The Rural Tourism Conference was created
by Planeta.com and co-hosted
by ECOCLUB.com, E-Travel
Traffic, Go Oaxaca,
Mexican Conservation Learning Network (IMAC) and The
Mountain Forum.

More than a dozen participants were active participants
and reported from the following countries: Canada, Costa Rica,
Ecuador, Greece, Mexico, Norway, United States and Uruguay.
