FLICKR ALBUM: Recycling

In May 2001, Planeta.com and Greenbuilder.com teamed up to host an online conference about tourism and green building techniques. The two-week event generated almost 200 messages and drew more than 200 individuals, many of whom are listed in our Directory of Participants. The event continues as an ongoing Forum.

The event drew attention to numerous sources of information, and one of the immediate products of the event was the creation of the Green Building and Tourism Fact Sheet, a Recycling Guide and the publication of Planeta.com's feature on Greening hotels and restaurants.
