EL SALVADOR FYI

El Salvador is bordered to the west by Guatemala, to the north and east by Honduras and to the south by the Pacific Ocean. The country is the most densely populated nation on the American mainland and also the most industrialized country in Central America.

El Salvador claims world-class surfing, scuba diving on the Pacific coast. The adventure and cultural offerings including hiking, rafting and archaeological sites such as the UNESCO heritage site Joya de Cerén.

FYI - The highest point in the country is Cerro El Pital at 8,957 feet (2,730 meters).
