I have noticed that in Oaxaca, many roofs are tilted so that run
off from rain or overfilled tanks runs to a low point on the roof
and then into the street. The street does not need water -- roof
water needs to run off into the gardens and grass.
The IV World Water Forum in Mexico never reached the poorest, those
that are deprived of their own water resources
