The Encuentro Internacional por la Naturaleza, part of Musica por la tierra, took place May 18-26, 2006 in Huatulco, Mexico.

Participants reviewed how responsible tourism can contribute to the protection of natural areas and prepared a declaration. Ron Mader gave a presentation titled "Mejorando el Dialogo: Turismo Responsable y Conservación (Improving the Dialogue: Responsible Tourism and Conservation)."
