it will update features on forest conservation and forestry
in April 2008.
"We are hosting Forest Month to encourage our readers
to help update Planeta.com resource guides and features,"
said Planeta.com founder Ron Mader. "We will pay attention
to community efforts to protect forest biodiversity and to develop
responsible tourism initiatives."
Forest Month kicks off with the the innovative Oaxaca's
Flickrmeet April 1-5 in Oaxaca
City. Working with editors, Planeta.com will develop collaborative
pages on its wiki
to document forest conservation and reforestation efforts around
the world.
