took place in Quito,
Ecuador, September 10-12, 2008.
The impressively well-organized event provided an intensive
introduction to new tourism services in the region. Buyers and
sellers reported positive networking experiences that generated
business contacts for the coming year. Those purchasing services
were able to learn about new options from colleagues while also
making new connections.

In tandem with the conference was the creation of a website

-- documenting tours around Ecuador to entice buyers to spend
extra time in country before and after the event.
The 2009 event takes place in Chile.
