development of a Who's
who in German-speaking Europe, including Austria,
Germany and Switzerland.
The Who's Who includes organizations, research centers, publishers
and universities.
The index follows up on a similar index
focusing on the United Kingdom.
"We would like to see who's doing what in the world of ecotourism
and responsible
travel," said Planeta.com founder Ron
Mader. "This will take time and we will edit the first
version online our wiki and later develop an overview to be posted
on our Slideshare channel.
It is vital to find new ways to connect."
CRITERIA
Any organization, group or website which actively promotes, researches,
or networks and offers space for exchange of ideas on topics related
to responsible tourism, ecotourism, sustainable travel, ethical
travel and green travel and have active web presence. Featured are
leaders in Austria,
Germany and Switzerland.
