El Planeta Platica is a quarterly journal aimed at conscientious travelers interested in Latin America. Stories feature travel and environmental information (sometimes intersecting in the field called "ecotourism." The February issue debuts at Ron's new home in Miami, Florida. Think mangroves and palm trees and sea breezes. That said, this issue looks at ecotourism from the ground or river up with stories from Mexico and Ecuador. Drink a cup of coffee and think about ecotourism in Oaxaca. Go down the river in Veracruz.
