BACKGROUND

The Sustainable Development of Ecotourism Conference was conducted for UNEP and WTO as a preliminary dialogue for the World Ecotourism Summit. This conference received financial support and its summary is available in three languages.

The second best documented conference was the Ecotourism Emerging Industry Forum which also received financial support.
