If you as the reader click from Planeta to Amazon.com via a
recommended book title, we receive a commission. But if you
consult our site and then stroll to Amazon more than one click
later, there's no transaction.

A word about copyright. I am contacting Amazon about questions
I have that they are selling (!) old copies of my "Mexico
on the Web" column. I never signed any contract with Business
Mexico to permit resale of these features. I am also mystified
that people are paying for a 1-page articles that are outdated.
BACKGROUND -- "Mexico on the Web"
started as online
feature for Mexico Connect (see overview).
It was then turned into a 3-page feature in the year-end issue
of Business Mexico and was picked up as a monthly column that
ran for five years. I don't want to get in to much about the
politics of working for Business Mexico, but suffice it to say
that at the time it was financially beneficial, yet frustrating
as Amcham didn't (and doesn't) know how to make a good website
themselves.
Working with Mexico Connect was a treat. David McLaughlin is
a Mexico-savvy, Internet-Savvy. His website is old school in
style but a web traffic bonanza and one of the best sources
of info about Mexico for expats.
