Planeta.com's 2013 World Travel Directory
If you see a footprint in the road, it means someone has
been there before you, and there's something to be learned from

BACKGROUND
Debuting in 1995,
Planeta.com's World Travel Directory is the oldest directory
of its kind on the Web and one the most popular resources
on this website. The directory
is updated on a regular basis.
The directory listing is not an ad. The directory listing is
a catalyst toward conversation and talking the walk on our shared
journey toward conscious travel and responsible tourism. Be
inspired and inspire us!
Operators - If you run an eco-friendly, people-friendly,
place-friendly conscious travel service and are keen to be featured
on our site, here is our criteria
for a listing. Premium coverage includes a directory listing
and a link on the relevant country guide. We curate your photos
in a Flickr Group, tweets via Twitter and videos on YouTube.
Listings include links to your social
web channels including blogs, Facebook, Flickr, Foursquare,
Google+, Pinterest, Twitter, wikis and YouTube. The cost for
a premier listing is $250/year includes a directory listing
on this page and link on a regional guide. Additional links
cost $50/year each. A listing in the directory alone is $100/year.
Businesses receive personal attention and helpful social media
tips. If you're into that, here
is the application!
Renewals- Renewal payments need to be made
the month or two before expiration. To guarantee the
quality of this directory, we do not accept multiple-year payment.
Travelers - If you select one of the operators
featured in this directory, please mention Planeta.com. If you
have feedback (testimonial or criticism) about an operator,
let us
know. And if you are looking for traveler-tested tips, check
out our guide to choosing
the tour that's right for you.
Media - This feature
is available for free syndication.
Request - Print this directory and post a copy on a
public bulletin board. If you take a photo, add it to World
Signs!
KUDOS
We applaud tour operators who go above and beyond
a listing on Planeta and contribute articles and editing suggestions
for our site and engage with Ron via social
web channels. We also pay kudos to operators who educate
travelers about cultural protocols, green technology and science.
DISCLAIMER
We take no responsibility for problems resulting through the
use of this directory. |
