is a select guide for those seeking meainingful eco-friendly,
people-friendly and place-friendly travel.
HISTORY
Debuting in 1995 the directory is the oldest of its kind on
the Web and is one the most popular features on this website.
The directory is updated at least once a month.
TRAVELERS - Consult traveler-tested tips on
choosing
the tour that's right for you. A request - if you select
one of the operators featured in this directory, please mention
Planeta.com. If you have feedback (testimonial or criticism)
about an operator, send us an email.
OPERATORS - If you run an eco-friendly, people-friendly, place-friendly travel service that should be featured on our
site, here is our criteria.
Premium coverage includes a directory listing and a link on the
relevant country guide. The cost for a premier listing is $250/year.
A listing in the directory alone is $100/year. Application
Featured operators have full access to Workshop 21 (profiled
here).
Renewal payments need to be made the month or two before
expiration. To guarantee the quality of this directory,
we do not accept multiple-year payment.
