India Hosts Responsible Tourism Awards

Presentations of the inaugural India Responsible Tourism Awards (IRTA) were made at the India Responsible Tourism Summit in Delhi on January 19th.

The Awards champion ethical travel across the country. The idea is to inspire and motivate the local fraternity and spread the good word.

IRTA is a regional partner of the World Responsible Tourism Awards (WRTA) held at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London every year.

In keeping with the WRTA standards, the judging process for IRTA is spearheaded by a jury of industry experts.

All the Gold and Silver winners and the judges’ reasons are published online courtesy of Harold Goodwin. Kudos to the organizers for sharing the video online!
