Downtown Las Vegas is the historic district of Las Vegas.

Faves include the old fort, the Healing Garden, Neon Museum, Nuwu, Writers’ Block, and Container Park. Looking for a great way to get around? We recommend RTC Bike Share for two wheeled journeys.

Spurred into being in 1905, today’s downtown is a mix of mid-century neon and early century shipping containers and outdoor art. You can be part of this 21st century rebirth. Bike share is an excellent way to see the sights. We enjoy walking, and downtown is amendable to pedestrians.

Bottom line: Downtown is highly recommended for its walkability, bikeability, community events, public art, storied histories, and emerging tales of long-haul renewal.
