Free Social Web Workshop
for Friends of Henderson Libraries
For those curious about social media, library friends’ friend Ron Mader leads a free, hands-on demonstration at the Paseo Verde Library. Please bring your smartphone or tablet. Check in and share book sale goodness via apps including Facebook, NextDoor and Twitter.
Objective: We are trying to promote the book sales, so please let your friends know of this way to support local libraries.

Outcomes: Ron met with Paula, Cindy and Sue and showed the Friends of Henderson Facebook page and event. Tips included taking screenshots and muting and snoozing friends on Facebook. We had a pleasant chat and agreed to meet up again to promote the book sale. Kudos to Benjamin for great coffee.

Outcomes: Ron met with Paula and Judy and showed how to view the Facebook and Twitter pages without having to sign in. They both arrived thanks to the email blast. We had a pleasant chat and agreed to meet up again the first day of next month’s Paseo Verde book sale.
