Radio = The transmission and reception of electromagnetic waves of radio frequency, especially those carrying sound messages

FYI – The difference between FM and AM radio?  Basically, FM radio is tuned to changes in the frequency of radio waves, whilst AM is tuned to the amplitude of radio waves. So AM radio is more vulnerable to interference, but its longer wavelengths mean better range.

February 13 is World Radio Day which seeks to raise awareness about the importance of radio, facilitate access to information through radio and enhance networking among broadcasters.

August 20 is National Radio Day in the USA. #NationalRadioDay.
