Bagdad Inn

Bagdad Inn, 2211 Las Vegas Blvd S – in 1956. Motel, shop, restaurant. It was a couple years old at the time. These buildings are still used.

Golden Nugget

The Riviera opened in April of 1955 as the first high rise on the #LasVegas Strip. Builders were worried that the soil would not support heavy tall buildings. The Riviera proved that theory wrong, paving way for the Strip as it is today. #NeonMuseumLasVegas
