Hiking in and around Vienna – hiking paths laid out by the City’s Forestry Office are well signposted and accessible by public transport. They are properly kept and secured regularly, disposing of a high level of infrastructure. There are children’s playgrounds along the way, as well as picnic tables and seating with fabulous views or nearby wood glades.

Freud’s Vienna

In the 50 years before he emigrated to escape the Nazis, Sigmund Freud, his wife Martha and six children lived and worked in the house at Berggasse 19 in Vienna. His most famous works were penned there, his most famous patients bared their ‘souls’ there. Now the address houses the Freud museum.

Money Museum and Collections
The OeNB’s Money Museum presents monetary issues, including monetary history, to the general public with exhibits that describe the development of money from its origins to the present day. The museum offers free tours for groups of ten and more persons, the Money Museum has also designed a comprehensive program catering especially to kindergarten groups and schoolchildren.
