Conservamos por Naturaleza
Conservamos por Naturaleza is a citizen initiative led by the Peruvian Society for Environmental Law, which supports people with voluntary conservation initiatives and proposes more sustainable life models. It encourages you to explore places and meet people who are betting on a more natural and supportive life, so that more people are inspired to do the same and join the construction of a more natural Peru. Our history In 2004, the Peruvian Society of Environmental Law (SPDA) created the Initiative for Private and Communal Conservation; and this was born with the objective of promoting, supporting and recognizing the active, responsible and organized participation of civil society in nature conservation, through the implementation of a series of legal tools to support their efforts. In recent years we have organized courses, workshops and forums at the national level; produced publications and videos; and more importantly, we have provided advice to consolidate and defend different areas against threats. In addition, we have provided direct support with seed funds for the implementation of new experiences. However, we know this continues and we stay motivated. We are not going to stop. Nine years have passed and there are more than 150 initiatives throughout the country that use a legal tool that supports them to carry out these undertakings. Although there are already many people who have been joining this wave of good vibes and positive energy, this is just beginning. We Conserve by Nature is a campaign that we have started to motivate all people to get involved in this desire for a healthy planet, showing them examples of people who confirm that it is possible to live in a sustainable, coherent and natural world, setting the path for an existence based on a more harmonious relationship with the environment that surrounds us. We invite you to join this natural cause. There are no requirements, just love where we live. What can you do? Travel around the country, meet our heroes and get infected with different ways of life. We can all conserve by nature.
